Hello. Johnny was born in San Francisco, CA. His family moved to Dallas, TX in 1969 and have been in this great state ever since. His mother was the one who taught him at an early age the wondrous, unconditional love these four legged creatures can offer. When he was five years old, they had their first silver male poodle, named Monty. This was the beginning of his love affair for poodles and all animals. When he found a stray animal, he was a precocious child, who would go door to door, until he found a home for him/her. When he was fifteen and sixteen years old, in the summer, he volunteered at a local rescue called Operation Kindness in Garland, TX. As you probably can read between the lines, he is very passionate about dogs. He just loves them!
Andy was born and raised around Texarkana, AR on a ranch raising cattle, horses, swine, sheep and chickens. He grew up competing, showing and raising these great animals. His childhood dogs was a fun-loving German Shepherd named Barky, and an ever loving boxer named Sparky. Andy too, grew up with a profound love and appreciation for animals. He moved to Dallas to attend and graduated college. We met in Dallas in 2000. We bought our foundation animals in 2002 on 10 acres in Terrell, TX and have breeding professionally ever since. Andy left corporate to stay home full time, Johnny on the other hand, is a professional hairdresser for thirty years with an upscale clientele base in Dallas, TX. We are committed and passionate about our animals. We also show in the AKC and UKC confirmation rings. We have AKC and UKC Champions.
We are licensed by the USDA. We meet and exceed all guidelines pertaining to the health, care and well being of our animals. We are also active members, in good standing with AKC, UKC, state and local clubs, and with our vet, Dr. Kimberly Brown, in Kaufman, TX. We attend throughout the year seminars and earn continuing education hours for lectures on topic’s of pre and post natal care, nutrition, health care, socialization, sanitation, grooming, kennel management, tax preparation, ventilation, incubation and reproduction.
